Face Grinding
Surface Grinding Machine
Grinds the flat side faces of bearing rings to the required width, flatness and parallelism.
06 · Proposed Plant & Machinery
The ORIX facility is planned around a dedicated line of grinding, lapping and packaging machines that covers every finishing stage of a ceramic bearing ring — from face and diameter grinding, through raceway lapping, to final packing.
Face Grinding
Grinds the flat side faces of bearing rings to the required width, flatness and parallelism.
Face Grinding
Grinds both sides of a component in a single set-up for consistent width and parallelism across a batch.
OD Grinding
Grinds the outside diameter of rings without centres, giving consistent size and roundness in volume production.
OD Grinding
Precision cylindrical grinding of external diameters to close size, roundness and surface-finish limits.
Bore Grinding
Grinds the bore and internal surfaces of rings to the specified diameter and geometry.
Raceway Finishing
Laps the inner-ring raceway (inner track) to the specified surface finish and raceway geometry.
Raceway Finishing
Laps the outer-ring raceway (outer track) for a fine surface finish, smooth rotation and low noise.
Packing & Dispatch
Seals finished, inspected bearings in protective film packs to keep them clean during storage and transit.
